I've been converting a series of sample cameras to identify good Infragram Point & Shoot candidates. These are all suffering from blue channel IR leakage to varying degrees, but I wanted to share the teardown photos; they've all been easy to modify (much easier than Canons!):

I have an Emerson Action Cam that looks a lot like the camera in your first photo. The lens appears to be glued irreversibly in place with cyanoacrylate (super) glue. I am afraid that if I twist too hard, I am going to break it from the PCB. Any ideas?

Hm, interesting. Sometimes the glues they use will melt when you heat them with a hair dryer, which could be worth a try. If you manage to convert it, tell me how it goes!
